The Vision of National Center for Youth Issues

The National Center for Youth Issues aspires to be the leading provider of character-building resources in America and to become a national clearinghouse of information on character development issues for children and youth.

To accomplish this goal, we will:

• Remain a premier provider of character-building tools and resources which we will aggressively promote to schools and youth agencies because they consistently impact the largest number of children and youth
• Identify character issues and relevant resources while considering the cultural diversity of our nation
• Develop strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations and recognized authorities on youth culture and character development
• Utilize electronic and print media to disseminate relevant information and respond to character related events and issues
• Actively participate in, promote and conduct regional and national conferences
• Invest in employee professional development and personal growth
• Maintain the highest standard of professional business conduct, ethics and accountability
